The Maids behind the Mers...
Our mermaids take on human form to mingle in human society, developing many talents that they bring into their mermaid performing.
Lorelei a.k.a. FrankieFirst-class Cambridge University graduate Frankie follows her own muse through life. An entrepreneur, she manages her own fire performance and circus agency called Wildfire Productions based in East Anglia. She's cultivated an impressive range of circus performance skills, including fire dancing, stilt walking, face painting and her deepest passion, trapeze, which she also teaches.
Having spent a lifetime enchanted by beautiful costumes and wild fancies, she now follows her dream working as a professional costumer and seamstress. Click on the link below to find out more about Frankie: www.frankiedubery.co.uk |
Ondine a.k.a. MaireadAnother Cambridge University graduate, in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, Mairead spends her days infiltrating human bureaucracy in the guise of an accountant, spreading bubbles, magic and Excel spreadsheets wherever she goes.
Known as the mermaid hairdresser, in her spare time Mairead enjoys cutting and styling the hair of anyone who doesn't try to run away, creating paper cut art, making jewellery and writing copy. Thanks to mermaid Melusine, she's also a keen belly dancer. |
Melusine a.h.a. DemiDemi's obsession with mermaids began, predictably, with The Little Mermaid as a kiddywink. She spent her teens reading tomes of folklore and went on to obtain a degree in drawing mermaids and princesses. Yup, she's a mermaiden through and through.
Born to dance, Demi works in the human world as a professional bellydancer, performing in top shows and awesome parties across the country. Demi teaches her own signature blend of Fusion Bellydance in Cambridge, and in her spare time creates decadent costumes to dance in.
