Does your child love the water?  Planning a party at the swimming pool? Then why not make it the party of a lifetime by hiring a real-life mermaid to swim alongside them? The sirens at Merlesque bring the world of fairytales to life, and your child will never forget the day they had the chance to swim with a real mermaid.

How does it work?

At a mermaid swimming party, your magical Merlesque mermaid will:
  • enchant the children by swimming underwater as a real mermaid
  • play fun water-based games, depending on the childrens' swimming ability
  • teach the children how to swim like mermaids and run mermaid races
  • tell stories about life under the ocean
  • pose for magical photo opportunities so your child can prove they've swum with a real mermaid!
Mermaid swimming parties typically last one or two hours, depending on the age of the children.

Mermaid Party Extras

In addition to our normal mermaid party packages, there are a whole host of enchanting extras that we can offer by prior arrangement, including:
  • Face painting
  • Balloon-modelling
  • Incredible pirate balloon modeller and bubble performer

You don't need a swimming pool to make your child's dreams come true with a mermaid party! Our children's entertainers will add an unforgettable touch of magic to your child's special day;  our bubbly sirens will keep children enthralled for hours with sea-themed games, storytelling and sing-a-longs.

How does it work?

At a mermaid party on dry land, your magical Merlesque mermaid can:
  • play fun ocean-themed party games
  • lead sea-themed arts and crafts activities with the children
  • tell stories about life under the ocean
  • lead sing-a-long songs (and yes parents, we do sing Let It Go from Disney's Frozen!)
  • sign autographs for children to keep
  • pose for magical photo opportunities so your child can prove they've met a real mermaid!

Ahoy there - add a pirate!

We also offer the option of mermaid and pirate entertainer combination packages. Our swashbuckling pirate will introduce piratical fun, games and bubbles - and as he's a balloon modeller, there's bound to be a few  balloon swordfights too!

If one pirate just isn't enough, we can invite the whole crew along, and our mermaids and pirates can work together to create spellbinding interactive performances that kids will love to join in - whether they're helping to retrieve sunken treasure from the bottom of the pool, or rescuing a golden mermaid from the clutches of the pirates!

With a splash of mermaid magic... You can become a mermaid!

New for 2015, the Merlesque mermaids are now offering a fabulous "Become A Mermaid" photo party option. Your child doesn't just get the opportunity to meet a mermaid - they get the chance to actually become one!
Your Merlesque mermaid will magically transform human children into real mermaids! The Become A Mermaid party package includes:
  • glittery mermaid make-up and facepainting
  • mermaid hair styling
  • try on mermaid jewellery from the bottom of the ocean
  • and of course, the chance to try on a real mermaid tail!
Once children have completed their transformation, it's time for a photoshoot! Parents are welcome to take their own pictures, or for a perfect memento of the day, Merlesque can arrange for a professional photographer  to attend the party and capture wonderful pictures of your little mermaids in action.
