Mermaid Melusine reports:
It's your chance to come and see real mermaids in the UK on the 19th July at the Folkestone Mermaid Festival! Merlesque mermaids Ondine and Melusine will be appearing in the Mermaid Parade at noon, as well as performing a hilarious cabaret set live on stage at 7pm. In-between, you can catch us on the lovely (if pebbly!) Folkestone beach, where we'll be available to meet and greet, pose for photos, and answer your questions about life under the sea. And of course, we're sirens at heart - so there's bound to be the odd song thrown in for good measure.
As well as mermaids, the festival includes local musicians, a fancy dress competition, a funfair, Punch and Judy show and much more! We can't wait to see you there.
